Honoring The Past

EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN. AND AGAIN.

Built in 1902 by Katz brothers Jacob, Jonas and Samuel, the building was home to Katz Underwear Company. The space we occupy was a large sewing room where women sat side by side and hand operated machines to manufacture wearables for the Katz product line. Renovation of our wood floor unearthed thousands of pins and needles which found their way into spaces between the planks, preserved for over a century! Current building owner Rudy Schemitz has breathed life into this beautiful, historic structure where new businesses and the entrepreneurial spirit are alive and well.

The Katz brothers would be proud.
